Bittersweet End

Now that the school year is finally over(YEAH!!!), I had to come to grips with how I really felt about leaving Rocklin Elementary. Although I'm really excited about getting the opportunity to help start a new school, it was much harder than I thought it would be to say goodbye to my old school. Rocklin Elementary has been my home for the last six years and a place where I have met many great colleagues and friends. Looking at it now I realize that I can relate this experience to where I have lived in my life. To me my home school will always be Rocklin Elementary, just like Canada will always be my home. Even if I'm not there at this moment, it will always hold a special place in my heart. I want to thank all of the folks at Rocklin El who made the last six years amazing. You guys are the best and I hope to still get invited to the amazing bulldog parties.
